Ultralight and durable 18L daypack with a customisable fit. The Aerios 18 Backpack from Arc'teryx has a patent-pending interchangeable harness system that allows you to finetune your fit before you start your hike, so you won’t spend every step thinking about your pack.

The ultralight, ultra-strong grid pack fabric sheds light rain and stands up to all the drops, drags, and snags a pack encounters on the trail with a FC0 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that repels moisture and is PFAS-free. Front bungee compression system and webbing daisy chain provide external carry options. Highly breathable shoulder harness with two zippered pockets that accommodate 500mL soft flasks or devices.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS

Originally founded as Rock Solid Manufacturing by David Lane in 1981, In 1990 Lane brought Jeremy Guard, a fellow climber, into the fold and in 1991 they renamed the company Arc’teryx - a nod to the Archaeopteryx lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight - the first bird - and the brand’s instantly recognisable logo is a depiction of the Berlin specimen of the Archaeopteryx. Their philosophy is guided by the belief that durability is the strongest path to sustainability.
