DESCRIPTION

A multi-purpose knife from Opinel, the No. 112 Paring Knife is perfect for slicing, chopping and peeling fruit and vegetables and for preparing meat.

With a 10 cm blade made from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. Opinel use this as it is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives it a superb cutting edge.

Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. Sourced from France, their beech is hard, durable and has a beautiful light colour that is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
